It’s not the fun kind of failure either, after installing 40d16 and dwarf manager I loaded up the game, created a world, accidentally chose an area with no trees and then completely forgot how to how to shift up and down the z-axis. This being a fairly important part of the game I was understandably dismayed and promptly shut the game down, once I look around and figure out how to shift again I’ll get back to playing, because apart from the lack of trees this is looking like a good area to re-learn.
